Please view Full Size to see all the flags! The blue flag is the Hetalia-fied version of the UN Emblem, with the Large star for USA and smaller star for California, superimposed on a rotating grid of the world.

The Flags in his shadow are all the current Hetalia nations, including non-nations: Prussia, Sealand, Seborga, Wy; Lots of non-hetalia nations, as well as a few Inter-governmental emblems such as NATO, World Bank, Commonwealth, Interpol, Nordic Council.

How many do you recognize?? XD

Haku did the character design and I did the shadow + flags, as well as the poster design. Flags were 90% generated through [link] with some painstaking hand-edits and choices.

I find it funny that the program generated Poland, Monaco, and Singapore in a cluster! can you spot them?? Also UK and Iceland!

About UN mascot: Improving on last year's last minute idea..

The United Nations is a young man who made his debut at the end of WWII. He is dressed conservatively in a dark blue suit, but tries to stay current by wearing with light blue shirt and white tie. His dark hair is neatly groomed but often messy at the end of the day. A pen is perpetually tucked into his front pocket because he is constantly writing letters to Nations, even if they don't respond.

When he first debuted he had thick framed glasses which he used to oversee Trustee Nations and republics after the end of WWII and the era of decolonization. Now he no longer needs them but he keeps them around when he wants to look important.

UN is a dreamer first and a teacher second. He is constantly studying around the world and trying to get other countries to talk to each other. This sometimes gives him a reputation for being Nosy and Bossy. In reality, he just likes to talk. He has a weakness for women and children. It can take him a very long time to make a firm decision

If two Nations aren't speaking to each other, he'll offer to act as a buffer.

His main office is USA, but he has houses in Austria, Switzerland, Kenya, as well as schools in Costa Rica and Tokyo.
